Happy School Year Ice Cream Lovers!  It’s the end of summer when we focus on our back-to-school cool.  We celebrated at the Lombardi House in Los Angeles, California with our favorite online retailer, Amazon (are there any others?) for their Happy School Year event. 

Hosted by our favorite singer, Ciara (are there any others?), the outdoor soiree was a perfect way to ring in the new semester.  With school supplies, balloons, pb&j’s, and goodies galore, all the attendees had some exciting motivation for the first day back to hitting the books.

Amazon added their own special touch to help give back to the community.  An Alexa-enabled device collected donations by responding to “Alexa, donate to Happy School Year.” Backpacks filled with school supplies were donated to children around the country.        

Everyone was shifted into high-gear for the first day of school with help from kid-friendly snacks and supplies.  A crowd favorite, of course, was the Peekaboo Ice Cream cart.  Kids, parents, and celebrities were able to cool down and indulge in everyone’s favorite ice cream with hidden veggies.  Aside from superstar Ciara, our favorite online blogger (JK), Perez Hilton made an appearance – blue beard, kids and all.       

With hidden veggies in every serving, Peekaboo is not only a great parenting-hack, but it’s kid tested and approved.  If Peekaboo Ice Cream is not already on your shopping list for back-to-school, take notes!
